Emma Cooper is a specialist in training children of all ages and abilities. Her teaching experience began when she lead classes throughout college and university, progressing on to working as a sports coach and P.E. provider for primary schools and activity camps. Her vast experience in teaching people from the age of 3 means her classes are designed for kids to have maximum fun. Emma discovered AGMA and trained for a number of years, and found the opportunity to combine a love for martial arts with a passion for teaching. Emma is now leading her own successful infant and junior classes with ambitions to introduce her unique and enthusiastic teaching style to many more children.
Rohit Ghai is a fitness fanatic who shares a huge enthusiasm for martial arts with the team. His classes are focused more towards martial arts, but still has essential elements to progress through fitness to achieve your goals. He has also taught Sikh martial arts which has broadened his knowledge, bringing aspects over from elements such as weapon defence. Rohit will make sure people are pushed to their absolute limits in order to achieve levels of success which his clients had never have thought possible. His leadership skills and abilities will ensure your sessions are taught to extremely high standards.
Sara Chowdhary has developed a strong passion for martial arts after being involved with martial arts for seven years. She has taken the leap to become an instructor with AG Martial Arts to inspire people around her and give them the opportunity to experience the enjoyment that martial arts offers to all ages. Working within the line of childcare herself, Sara has lots of experience with a wide variety of children, providing fun and engaging classes for her students. Sara specialises in helping to boost children’s confidence whilst teaching discipline, with the aim being to create more well rounded individuals through perseverance. She is patient and believes children should be heard, therefore allows children to voice their thoughts and opinions, prioritising discussion time during classes.
Tom Sutton has a strong background in teaching kids of all ages, as well as a black belt in Taekwondo. His enthusiasm for teaching kids was the reason he has come on board with us to run multiple successful classes with AG Martial Arts. His fortay is in teaching kids the correct techniques, and drilling the essence of martial arts into every student. Tom also a strong educational background in the realm of sport, and can therefore lead very fun adults classes. He’ll be sure to give you a workout you wont forget, and can keep classes extremely social with every member engaged. Tom’s commitment to the cause shows through his passion as he aims to make every individual the best martial artist they can be.
Jasmin Winthrop is a role-model martial artist, showing extreme dedication to the sport and a clear enthusiasm for teaching. Although classes are fun, Jasmin is firm in her ways to make sure kids behave as they should. Her experience in competitions and real life situations means her connection technique between class and the outside world are indistinguishable. Her strong Karate background comes through in classes with regimented yet fun drills which benefits members hugely. Although one of our youngest instructors, Jasmin has proven herself to truly be one of the team and is sure to create the future leaders of the martial arts world.
Badr Bahaj focuses on key elements of martial arts, but keeps classes lively and engaging for the kids. Members of all ages will learn extensive detail in technique and gain a strong understanding as to how and when each move is used. Despite being a very young member of our team, Badr never fails to keep a strong sense of authority over the students and immediately has their respect, yet can add humour and create an engaging atmosphere. If you’re looking for a highly disciplined class where kids can have a regular weekly activity they can look forward to, Badr’s sessions are the classes for you!
